Objective Markers
Fiddling around with my bits box the other day for something to use as the "go find X" item I put together a few Ojective markers for various games.
Mage knight robot golems provided some of the parts, other items are .... well recyled to say the least. Paint and ground cover to go, maybe some rusty stuff.

What kind of objective are they? Some kind machinery or something?

In the words of Alfred Hitchcock the director, they are the "Macguffin". The place to get to to achieve "the objective", find the hostage, get the data tapes, blow up the thingy doohickey. Rather something eye catching than a poker chip or some such :)
